Squid Kid

It's been quite a while since I last had a play around in 3D so I decided to make my little 2009 "squid kid" come alive. Had lots of fun with this and it's got me into modelling again so there may be more to come very soon!



On another note, I've had many comments from people here and at DeviantArt suggesting what my weird fruit thing could actually be. For general interest and merriment, here is a list of all the suggestions:

• Daikon
• Ill-shaped pear
• Naked pineapple
• Lovechild of a turnip and strawberry
• Marshmellow fruit
• Big tic-tac fruit
• Undeveloped grape
• Giant japanese winter berry
• Candyfloss

As a conclusion, I think that I will settle on it being a giant tic-tac fruit because that seems to be what it looks like the most, but I love hearing all the fun ideas so thank you for exercising your minds!

Hello 2009

Happy 2009 everyone!!

My resolution this year will be to do at least one thing creative everyday, no matter what it might be; whether it's creating new illustrations or painting an egg. Well, I've stuck to it so far (yeah okay, it's only the first day of January) and so I present to you my first post of 2009!

If somebody Googles "Tranfood Meat Factory", my blog appears first on the list of results. I discovered this today after checking my hit counter statistics and I'm quite amused by it.

Weird Fruit Thing

I don't really know what this is meant to be.
The plan was to make an animal of some sort but it turned out to look quite interesting at the "fat body lump" stage. So I stuck a strawberry-type leaf on it's head instead.

Guess that makes it a new type of fruit then...

LBP Pinball

My boyfriend Rob has been hard at work making his own pinball level on LittleBigPlanet and now it's finally published - yay! Take a look at the video below to see how awesome it is, then search for his username "Blujarr" to find the level named "Larolaro's Super Pinball!"

Desktop Cactus

Christmas is now over and what remains is a girl sitting at her computer eating a mince pie for breakfast. Yum. Like every year, it was a big family Christmas and a great one as always! I hope you all had an awesome day!!

Off topic, here's a card I drew and a cactus that I crocheted for my brother's birthday last week. I even went out to make an 'ickle box for it. Aw.
