Scribbles

I haven't posted sketches like these in a looong time (not that I haven't been drawing - I just became lazy and used throwaway pieces of paper to draw on). So I thought it'd be a good idea to get the good old A3 paper out again and get doodling in a more organised fashion.

Here is a mix of 'on the phone' scribbles, 'waiting for the damn computer to load' scribbles & dedicated drawing time scribbles.

Snow

All this snow inspired me to draw something wintery.

TF2 Propaganda

If you're a fan of Team Fortress 2 then you probably know about the propaganda contest that's going on at the moment...this is my entry. For those who are not TF2 educated, simply enjoy my drawing of a little soldier wielding a shovel and rag doll that's been ripped in half :)

Faucet Face water bottles

A while ago, I worked on a hummingbird illustration for Faucet Face, a company aiming to encourage people to fill up at the faucet as opposed to buying bottled water. There are also bottle designs by artists Ray Fenwick and Seb Lester...all available for pre-order now. Go check it out!

Rain, rain, go away.

The weather has been so miserable lately...look, it made me draw rain and dull clouds!

Periodic Table

So after making my Solar System series, I really wanted to do another project based on science and what else could I have done other than the one & only Periodic Table of Elements?! It's something I've been working on, a bit at a time, for the past few weeks. Modelling each object in 3D proved to be a huge task and took a lot longer than I originally thought but the feeling of completing it was awesome. On top of it all, I've learnt way more about the elements researching for this than I ever did in school :)

Apologies if the image seems a little on the small side, it's to prevent the bad people from stealing and printing it. However, printing it as a poster is an option I could take...would you buy it, yes/no?

Edit, July 2011: Even over a year later, I still haven't managed to make prints of this available, so if anyone knows of a good company who can do affordable, large (A2+) quality prints, please let me know!

and here's some close-ups of a few elements.

Fall Friends

Trying something different here, loosening up a little and playing with composition.
